Rufus came to us from the North Platte Animal Shelter as a rescue dog.  Rufus is an approximately two year old Boxer mix.  He has completed obedience training and has successfully passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test.  Rufus has completed testing and credentialing as a Certified Therapy Dog with Alliance of Therapy Dogs, Inc.

When not performing therapy dog duties, Rufus resides with Matt and his family, as well as the families two other rescue dogs Gypsy and Hugo. Rufus loves playing with other dogs while off duty, but during therapy sessions he enjoys being petted, tummy rubs and a relaxing nap.
